Tuesday's Tips: Card Sketches for Great Mother's Day Cards

The thing that makes a creative person is to be creative and that is all there is to it.  - Edward Albee

Tuesday Gift Idea: A Handmade Card

Today's post is just a couple of simple cards that you can make for your mom. My mother-in-law always keeps the cards I make her on her mantel for weeks after she receives them, they become not only cards, but a decoration in her house-- she loves them.

No Mother's Day stamps? Just write out your sentiment on your tag or card. Mom will love having a piece of your handwriting.

If you need more ideas to get a card started, stop by one or all of these three sketch blogs:

Well, that is all I have for today. Have a great Tuesday!

Products:  Most of the products for the Green card are scraps-- you may find the ribbon (Bazzill Basics) and the stamp (Scrappy Cat). The glitter flower is from Campbell's art box. Blue card products: patterned paper (Webster's Pages), ribbon (May Arts); buttons (Bazzill Basics), flowers (Prima).
